David Rosengarten is perhaps best known for his work as the host of “Taste”, the award-winning Food Network television show devoted to the principles of good taste in food and wine. David has performed in 2,500 shows on the Food Network, and been featured on a variety of other networks (most notably NBC, where he has regularly appeared on the “Today Show”.)
In 2006 David Rosengarten and Erna Kaaber partnered to open Icelandic Fish & Chips in Reykjavik, a highly popular restaurant devoted to the freshest Icelandic fish in the healthiest preparations. Prior to opening the Reykjavik restaurant, Erna was a journalist with extensive experience in a range of different media: newspapers, magazines, radio and television, and covered food extensively. In 2003, she wrote a cookbook, Northern Delights, which paints a comprehensive picture of Icelandic food-exploring Icelandic traditions in fishing, agriculture, hospitality and cooking.
